Trail Update - 2/15/19: Terrace Oaks West and Alimagnet have both been groomed and the track has been set. Both are in excellent condition. Please note: there is a habitat project taking place at Terrace Oaks that may affect some sections of trails. Signage is available at Terrace Oaks.
The Cross Country ski trails were built and are maintained for the public's use and enjoyment by the City of Burnsville Parks and Recreation Department. For your safety and the convenience of all, please follow these rules:
Terrace Oaks Park is home to three groomed ski trails. Traversing them requires some stamina and skiing experience. All of the trails wind through heavily wooded and hilly terrain. Walkers, snowshoers, skijorers and dogs are not permitted on the groomed ski trails at Terrace Oaks. Non-skiers and dogs on leashes are welcome on Terrace Oaks' ungroomed trail.
A ski chalet is located near the Terrace Oaks West park entrance. Weather permitting, the chalet is open Saturdays and Sundays from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.

The three groomed trails at Alimagnet Park are relatively flat and are considered easier trails. Those who are new to cross-country skiing may find these trails more to their liking since the terrain is easier and the pace is generally slower. All trails at Alimagnet are multi-use and welcome cross-country skiers, walkers, snowshoers, skijorers and dogs on leashes.
