One person’s trash is another person’s treasure. Turn your slightly-used items into cash at the ninth-annual Community-Wide Garage Sale May 19-20. Event will be held rain or shine. The City will create a map with all registered sales, which will be available at City Hall, the City Maintenance Center and online in mid-May.

Sponsored by the Drug Enforcement Administration, National Prescription Drug Take Back Day highlights safe and convenient methods for the public to dispose of old or unused prescription drugs. The Burnsville Police Department would like to remind residents to use the City's prescription drug dropbox on or before the weekend of April 29 as the box will be temporarily moving May 1.

A variety of bare-root trees are available for purchase. Trees keep homes cool in summer, protect water quality by reducing runoff and provide habitat for wildlife. The sale is held rain or shine. Only cash or checks are accepted. Open to Burnsville residents only.

Need to get rid of sensitive documents? Come to Dakota Valley Recycling’s first-ever shred event! The event will take place at the Eagan Community Center and will be FREE for residents of Burnsville, Eagan, Apple Valley, and Lakeville. Shredding will occur on-site immediately at the event. The shredded paper will be compacted and recycled appropriately.
