  2. Savage Dan Patch 5K

    Part of the S.O.R.R. Ground Pounders Grand Prix Running Series. Runners, walkers, kids and adults can all get in on the fun. Races offer a variety of distances, scenery, prizes and events. Participants earn points by participating in each race. Those who run a minimum of three events are eligible for overall prize drawings (awarded in August).

  3. Adult Tennis Daytime Session

    June 26, 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM @ Wood Park

    Have fun, stay in shape and meet new friends while playing the lifetime sport of tennis. All classes are taught by United States Tennis Association-trained instructors. All participants will be given a new Wilson tennis racquet.

    Youth ages 6-12 are invited to experience Net Generation Youth Tennis. The program will help capture the imagination of kids of all ages, backgrounds, and skill levels. The program makes learning tennis easier, with the court size, balls, scoring system and height of the net tailored to the child’s age and size.

    All-inclusive games teach kids the fundamentals of soccer including dribbling, passing, shooting, trapping, control and footwork. This program also helps introduce the importance of sportsmanship and teamwork.
