Landscaping for Clean Water Workshop

Tuesday, April 10

Dakota County residents are once again invited to attend an introductory class. The workshop provides tips and tricks on creating native gardens, rain gardens and shoreline stabilization projects. Participants will also see examples of how others in the community have created gardens that benefit local water quality and help provide much-needed habitat for pollinators.

Workshops last just over one hour. More in-depth design classes will also be offered following the introductory workshop.

To assist residents, the Dakota County Soil & Water Conservation District and the City of Burnsville have financial assistance programs that help fund water-friendly projects.

Burnsville residents can also attend the introductory workshop in other neighboring
Dakota County cities. Visit for other locations and dates.
