Alimagnet Park is a 178-acre community park located two blocks north of County Road 42 on County Road 11. Trail maps and information
The Alimagnet Dog Park is an enclosed, seven acre, off-leash canine exercise area owned and operated by the City of Burnsville and supported by members of PACK (People of Alimagnet Caring for K9s).
Dog park users are encouraged to purchase an optional $20 membership to help support the administration and maintenance costs of the park. Each household becomes a valuable supporter of the park and receives three to four "Scoop" newsletters, a PACK car cling, discounts on PACK merchandise and more. Dog Park membership can be purchased at City Hall or by mailing in the Dog Park Membership Form.
The dog park features benches, shelters, waste bags and a walking path surrounding a stormwater pond. The pond's primary purpose is to collect rainwater and snowmelt runoff. The pond is maintained as a stormwater pond and not as a swimming pond. Allowing your dog to swim in the pond is at your own risk. Check with your veterinarian for information about the risks associated with swimming in lakes and ponds.

Dog Park Closures July 22-26
The "large dog" section of Alimagnet Dog Park will be closed Monday, July 22 through Friday, July 26 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily while crews complete a few upgrade projects.
Work will include:
- Regrading and laying of new material for the 1/2 mile gravel trail around the perimeter of the park.
- Installation of a fence to split the god park into a "dry" side and a "wet" side -- allowing owners to decide if they want to allow their dogs access to the pond. Once work is complete, visitors will still be able to walk the entire trail via access gates.
