2019 | BCTV's 'I Love Burnsville' Week PSA Day

  1. Wednesday, June 5th BCTV non-profit PSA day

  2. Your organization's PSA can be created in one of three ways. Each option requires you to provide a logo and other information prior to the record date. Regardless of option choice, a representative from your organization will be required to sign up for a time-slot and be present at the BCTV studio during that time.

  3. Option 1 - Black Background with Soft Lighting

    BCTV staff will ask the following questions to your representative: What is the name of your organization?; Who does your organization help:, How do I learn more about your organization? Responses will be edited into a :30 second or less video by BCTV staff with a lower third graphic containing the organizations' logo (if provided) and the information above. BCTV will provide a finished digital file for the non-profit's use.

  4. Option 2 - Green Screen

    Your representative - "talent" - will stand in front of the green screen reading from a prepared script on the teleprompter. The script will include talent introduction, explanation of the organization's benefits and contact information. This will be edited into a 30 second or less video by BCTV staff with a lower third graphic containing the organization's logo (if provided) and the information above. BCTV will provide a finished digital file for the non-profit's use.

  5. Option 3 - Graphic Video with Music

    The organization's logo, name who benefits and contact information will be edited into a 10 second graphic video with music by BCTV staff. BCTV will provide a digital file for the non-profit's use.

  10. Is your representative talent*

    Your representative/talent will be required to sign a "talent consent form" on the record date. If your representative/talent is under age 18, a parent/guardian will need to sign a consent form prior to the record date and must bring the signed consent form on the record date.

  12. Only necessary if you have chosen Option 2 for your PSA. Accepted file types: .docx, .doc and .pdf

  13. The file must be either a .png (supports transparency) or a .jpg. The resolution should be between 72 and 150 res.

  14. You may provide up to five pictures for use in this video. Some pictures may not be used. Pictures should be in .jpg format and no more than 150 resolution.
