Adult Open Hockey is for skaters 18 years of age and older only. Helmets are required, and all other equipment is optional. We take up to 30 skaters and 3 goalies.

Participants will learn about the natural environment at Sunset Pond while looking for wildlife and native wildflowers. Comfortable shoes and binoculars are encouraged. Walkers should expect to travel one mile on an asphalt trail. Event takes place Thursday, July 20.
QuickStart Tennis makes learning tennis easier. The court size, racket size, balls, scoring system and even the height of the net are all tailored to the child’s age and size. QuickStart Tennis focuses on the fun of tennis through instruction, lecture, exciting games and playing time. Each session will bring new challenges, so participants can sign up for multiple sessions. Participants must provide their own tennis racket. (Contact the Burnsville Recreation Department if you are unable to obtain a tennis racket.)

Skaters ages 6 - 12 ready to catch some big air will be taught to master their riding skills while working on rolling ollies, kick flips, axle stalls, pop shuvits and more. Skaters can improve their balance and control while working on small launch ramps and grinding rails. This class offers small group instruction based on ability level. Classes meet from 9 a.m. - noon July 17 - 19.
