A Traffic Committee has been established consisting of the Public Works Director/City Engineer, Street Superintendent, Police Traffic Sergeant, Traffic Officer, Communications Coordinator, Fire Captain, Traffic Consultant and the Engineering Specialist.

Implementing the 4 E’s – Engineering, Enforcement, Education and Emergency Response

Purpose of the Committee – Advise the P.W/City Engineer & Engineering Assistant on traffic concerns
  • Coordination – of projects
  • Communication – regarding construction areas and traffic concerns
  • Promote safety – throughout the City
  • Develop policy and practices on traffic issues
  • Evaluation accident areas and make improvements
  • Absorb complaints
  • Investigate and verification of a problem raised by the community or staff
  • Ensure traffic safety goals are achieved
  • Make decision about neighborhood traffic concerns
